Training personnel and volunteers

During the period of June 24^th, 2015 – July 1^st, 2015, InterCultural Iceland achieved training of personnel and volunteers in the project I GROW UP in Vrancea! – Remigrant Children in Vrancea – educated, supported, counselled!.

The lecture „Sensitization training to improve positive interaction and inclusion of the remigrant children” was organised and supported by Guðrún Pétursdóttir, trainer and general manager of InterCultural Iceland (partner 3 in the project) and had as main objective the training of professionals involved in the project to form relationships with remigrant children and develop understanding of impact the intercultural experience has on the development of these children.

Present at the lecture were, in 3 training sessions, over 90 professionals who will unfold specific activities in the project, the certification of acquired competences being accomplished by the organizing institution.
